Menzerna P14F is a fast-acting polishing compound with a good cut and broad field of application. With a primary cut buff, customers report a cut as similar to tripoli, but with cleaner results and great colour; as a result this is one of Stephane’s favourite cut & colour compounds! Spectrum recommends pairing this compound with medium-stiff buffs like our Matchless blue airway, yellow airway, and blue and yellow checker plate airways.

Capable of removing 320 grit (brass) to 400 grit (aluminum) sanding marks, P14F is recommended by Menzerna as a first step in a two-stage polishing process. Bring your aluminum or brass surface to a high gloss, mirror finish by following up with Menzerna P175 Super Finish; additional polishing steps can add more clarity. P14F Medium Cut is suitable for use with other non-ferrous metals and stainless steel and it can be used as a stand-alone polishing step to prepare aluminum pieces for anodizing.
