DIY Iron Remover T3

Iron Remover - New Reduced Odor Formula

Don’t let rust or paint damage ruin the appearance of your vehicle. If left untreated, rust can spread and cause a tremendous amount of damage that can be costly to repair. Iron Remover is a powerful and effective way to dissolve ferrous oxides from painted surfaces and wheels. Iron Remover utilizes color change technology to show you contaminated surfaces during your car wash process. This car wash product is specially formulated to help remove iron particles from your vehicle's paintwork without having to do so mechanically.

Bonded iron can be a huge problem if it embeds itself into the surface of your vehicle. When Iron Remover is applied to your vehicle’s paint it instantly loosens up iron oxide particles allowing you to easily rinse them off, keeping your car looking its best for years to come.

Iron Remover is a PH-neutral formula meaning it is safe to use on all painted surfaces including wheels. We recommend testing an inconspicuous area on your vehicle before applying it to the entire surface, however.

Before decontaminating your vehicle’s paint, it is best to remove dirt and debris by giving it a thorough wash. We offer many other products to assist you in this important step.

Directions:
  1. Spray 1 squirt of DIY Detail Iron Remover onto the DIY Detail Quad Fold Decontamination Towel , and 1 squirt on the panel
  2. Agitate lightly with the DIY Detail Quad Fold Decontamination Towel  the highly lubricating formula ensures paint safe decontamination. Use a new side of the towel for each panel, with a squirt on the panel, and one on the DIY Detail Quad Fold Decontamination Towel , allow to dwell.
  3. Alternatively you can simply spray on the surface, and watch as the formula reacts, turning purple to indicate contamination removal.
  4. Rinse thoroughly to leave the surface clean and free from embedded iron.

For Best Results:
Application in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, delivers the best experience. The reduced odor formula minimizes unpleasant smells, but ventilation ensures maximum comfort during use. If choosing the spray and rinse application, DIY Detail Iron Remover can be diluted 1-1 with distilled water (T3).

Iron fallout consists of microscopic metal particles from brake dust, rail dust, and industrial contamination that bond to your vehicle's paint and wheels. These particles embed themselves in the clear coat and oxidize (rust), creating rough patches and orange/brown spots. If left untreated, iron fallout can permanently damage paint, requiring expensive correction or repainting.

Iron Remover uses a pH-neutral formula that chemically dissolves iron oxide particles without mechanical abrasion. When sprayed onto contaminated surfaces, the formula reacts with iron particles, turning purple to indicate contamination. This color-change technology provides visual confirmation that iron is being dissolved and lifted from the surface.

Always wash your vehicle first to remove loose dirt and grime. Applying Iron Remover to dirty surfaces reduces its effectiveness and can cause contamination to scratch your paint during rinsing. Pair Iron Remover with Incredible Suds or Rinse Less Wash for optimal prep work.

Allow Iron Remover to dwell for 3–8 minutes on painted surfaces and wheels. Watch for the purple color change indicating iron removal. Never let the product dry on the surface — if it begins drying before 8 minutes, rinse immediately and reapply if needed.

Iron Remover is pH-neutral and safe for clear-coated, powder-coated, chrome, and aluminum wheels. It won't harm finishes when used as directed. However, always test on a small area first on aftermarket or custom wheels to ensure compatibility.

Iron Remover is specifically formulated for painted surfaces and clear coats. The pH-neutral formula won't strip wax or damage your finish. However, for best results, plan to apply wax or ceramic coating after decontamination for maximum protection.

Iron Remover targets ferrous (iron-based) contamination like brake dust. For complete decontamination, pair with All Clean for general grime and grease, and consider a Clay Towel for bonded contaminants like tar and tree sap.
